I had driving license for last fifteen years in Qatar which has expired in 2012. I left Qatar in 2010 and re-entered Qatar in new employment resident visa this week. My question is can I get temporary driving license before the RP visa stamp in the passport. If yes what are the paper works required? At present I also have valid Oman driving license, valid Sri Lankan license and also valid international driving license issued from Sri Lanka Automobile Association.

Any suggestions on above matter will be appreciated.

Thank you for the information and recommendation. I believe this is approved by Qatar Traffic department.

Yes, your Oman driving license permits you to drive until you exchange when your RP is ready and after then, you are expected to drive with Qatar issued license.
