Do I need a Police FIR for Mobile Lost?

I have lost my mobile while travelling from my Residence to Office in Ras Laffan in my Company Bus. Do I need to make a FIR complain with Police so that no one can make misuse of it? I have already suspended the SIM Card from Qtel. Please advice.

Go to capital police and lodge a FIR as early as possible.

If you already told qtel that your mobile was lost then they will cancel the sim card and they will give you a new sim card. the number will be the same.

yes.. IF you have the receipt of your phone. in the receipt there is an ISBN number of the mobile. with the help of this, police can trace your mobile, when it is on from other persons. but make it quickly.
