Tata sky is better, but be prepared for inferior signal quality in summer. The day time reception is bad or nil.
A stonger Philips LNB can solve the problem, but the last time I checked, Philips LNBs were not available in Doha.
I think Airtel Digital TV uses MPEG4 transmission technology. Have seen it in India its better than TataSKY. But I dont know of anyone who has Airtel TV in Doha.
But then everthing depends on INSAT4A's footprint which goes weaker due to sun outages during summer.

Comparing with Dish TV , Tatasky is good. But i heard that "SUN Direct" Works better in Qatar ( Just heard but not sure)

Tata sky reception is hopeless. There is no difference whether it is night or day time.
we have a Tata sky set of box and the dish, which we are planning to sale as we are moving. so if you want pls mail me [email protected]

I had Dish TV in Qatar 2 years back. But it was not working properly. So dont go for Dish TV. Tata Sky is good.
