listen to most what kabayans are telling you.

very costly living here and you will be tied up to your company for 2 years. our company nurse gets 3 times than that offer... also filipinos and young as you.

It is Definitely NO DEAL... you won't survive on this.. and you will be stuck in a dead end job without any prospects... and you will not save anything at all.. you will barely suvive if you are lucky. 2,100 is how much one pays to a maid here... fully accomodated and food provided... your benefits suck too.

I am into recruitment and for first timer,it is just enough. Considering that the hospital is not Hamad, Al Ahli, Heart or American, this is how far you can get.

I do suggest that you take the offer, which is better than working in the Philippines which you will get a salary far less than the offer.

....

Take it as your steeping stone for higher salary in the future or of going to the west. The exposure and or experience is far more than the salary...

Although Saudi offers more, I do believe that you will be better off here in Qatar .....

juan_delacruz16 : we just want you to think before you decide. To spend 2000 pesos in Philippines is no difference of spending 2000 Qatar Riyal here in Qatar. Everything here are expensive, open your eyes, open your ears, open your mind and think better : )

Let him to come here so that he will experience what the real ofw story is. A typical of lifestyle that you will be tired on looking those canned goods on top of your dining table. You are a nurse Juan, you were not sent to school just to earn that amount. You deserve more than that.

Why you need to know the salary of each and everyone in this forum? Common sense..all advices above are clear the offer you get is very low..means atleast 3500QR (min)a month with free transport/ accommodation and you will be fine.

Now, if you can't believe what we are trying to let you understand here..go ahead..accept the offer and jump in here. THEN WE WILL SURELY SEE YOUR POST AGAIN..ASKING ABOUT N.O.C requirements and steps to resign or filing a complain against your company..(hopefully not)

IT'S YOUR CHOICE THEN..NOT US.

juan_delacruz16 - don't convert into peso. Because once you're here you're going to spend it in QR. cost of living here is very expensive. 2100 salary + 200 for food allowance -- u can survive with ur food allowance if you'll eat canned sardines everyday. It cost 3QR to 5QR. For sure your contract here will be 2 years. 2 years of depriving yourself is hilarious. If you want to go out during your day off, minimum for taxi (per 1 way) is 10 QR, sometimes they will ask you for 25 QR. You also have everyday needs like toiletries, clothes, vitamins, etc etc. If you'll be having that salary, you can't earn 20k Php a month. ---Unless if your soon to be company will also provide those stuff.

that is exactly what im trying to say... It really depends on the company and your experience.

As you have mentioned, you are 25 yrs old, so young to be well experienced. Are you an RN? with MOH?

Bro, the expenses depend on your style only, if you are a socialist you may need around 1500 per month for day outs, clubbing n shopping etc, that's minimum, if you are a saver, your salary is well enough for you, in the ministry of interior qatar some filipinos working as office boys n tea girls, their salary per month is 1000 qr only, BTW if you r a degree holding experienced nurse, you can expect least 6K

I have a close friend, he was hired just recently as company nurse (MIDMAC yata ung co. not sure).

His Monthly package is 8500Qrs. (5000Qrs as the basic and the rest are for OT, Alowances something like that) and Increment every year (?)

Annual ticket (Return)

and ofc accommodation and transpo.

Basic salary is important because that is where they are going to compute your end of service gratuity in case you want to leave the company in the future.

But... it always depend on your experience :)

Are there any increment after probation?
