Hello,

So i stopped first at the red light. Then i don't realized that my car was moving slowly, i just crossed the line, i think with only 2 wheels, and then i get flash. Do you think i will get a fine ?

Thanks,

Hopefully You will get fine for 600 QAR only if there was single flash(dark lane break), If double flash (signal break) its QAR 3000.

Please be more careful while driving, Follow traffic rules as they are for your safety / Avoid Fines.

Agreed with Miks and Khalli, you should always put the gear to "N" (for Auto Cars) and pull the hand brakes when the car has stopped on a red signal: for Safety and prevent fast degrading of the clutch linings!

@reach4chips, I agree with you regarding khalliwalli's rudeness. But putting the gear into "N" and pulling the handbrake is not for newbies. It's also for your safety. And it prevents the wear and tear of the clutch lining. if you keep the gear in "D", it will eat up the clutch lining faster

khalliwalli, I think that our rudeness isnt required, the hefty fine levied would be enough to hurt the poor poster.

Anyone who puts the car into neutral and then the handbrake on is newbie to driving.
