But why do you want to study in Qatar?

I suppose it would cost you arm and a leg and at the end of it you graduate from Qatar!

All qataris I know try to send their kids to study in west.....OK some countries are difficult like many unis in UK, but I am sure you can find somewhere in US.

i am a metallurgical engineer with masters in chemical engineering, specialised in industrial pollution control.

are u joining a job in doha? if so then study oppurtunity is less, cos if there was good oppurtunity i would have been the first to grab it provided it was reasonably priced, but its not, and no evening colleges i know of as such.

i have been checking all options of online study and correspondence, and some indian establishments offer them, but i dont feel they upto the mark, although they may cost less.

when are u coming here?

I think you are still in the range to get your visa. I think that all govermental paperwork will be delayed due to Ramadan. So, i would advise you to calmdown and you will get your visa within maximum of two weeks.

Good luck

hi, most masters degrees are given by qatar university, i dont know of private instituitions giving them, and as far as my knowldge goes, there isnt evening college except for a few courses, like environment where they conduct classes twice a week for a set duration.but you will have to check out qatar university.

Really i prefered to attend it at college more than inline.

here in jordan where am now , we have a lot of options but it take near to 2 years for the good one and it is cost much comparasion with the jordan incomes salaries, like NYIT which called the best here

there are NYIT at bahreen, some who live in saudia can go to bahreen cause it is near to some of saudia cities, i dont think this options valid for qatar..

are u interested in attending colleg on campus or are you willing to do a correspondence or online course, because if true for the latter then i have browsed through the site for cambridge college, uk, and they seemed authentic and pretty reasonable where costs were concerned.which field are you looking at?

www.cambridgecollege.co.uk

you could go through it and see if it suits you.

i have been looking at phd options for the past 6 years here in qatar, but the costs are just too much and they dont offer evening classes.

all the best.

Options are very limited... there are a few Indian institutes offering evening classes but i wouldn't recommend them. Facilities are dreadful, Books and material are pathetic, classes are irregular etc. I'm wondering if QF will start Masters programmes anytime soon, but they're likely to be expensive, and I doubt they'll offer evening classes. I'm also considering taking up MSC IT or MCA.
