m8, i wouldnt recommend living in qatar unless you make at least Qr 25000 especially if you are moving from s'pore.

it is an opportunity cost tradeoff. do you really want to give up your comfortable life in spore to save Qr6000 a month? even less if you get a lease or take a car loan?

the clubbing scene is non existent. the only pubs are in 5star hotels and dam expensive. decent restaurants cost an arm and a leg.marginally racist culture especially towards those of brown skin.

unless your partner gets a job or she wants to forgo on some requirements to happiness i wouldnt recommend you moving here. at least not when yer young and still have a life.

Aji Varghese has provided correct information - 4000 to 5000 for a 2 bedroom unfurnished apartments, Food and transport wont cost you much. You may be able to save the balance money (>50%). Singapore it may not be possible - 5000 or 6000 SGD will not sufficient even to meet your expenses. All the best
