Hello guys..i may ask I have my new passport, do the company need to transfer my visa from my old passport , to my new one, because my old passport will expired on may 6, 2014 and my visa there in old one will expire on october 2014. i already resigned and will exit qatar on first week of may and going back home.. my old passport was stamped cancelled and they put holes on it in philippine embassy...our h.r told me no need to transfer..the visa cause i am  going home.. is this correct? or it can be done by attaching my old passport with new one  to present in immigration once iam in airport?? cause i dont want to have any problem when i am already on airport.. thanks guys..:)

No need to transfer visa on new passport.. just carry both the passports by attaching each other coz your new passport is renewed in Doha Qatar. The immigration dept will check the visa validity in old passport and stamp exit on new passport. Your hr is correct.

The existing visa must be transfered to the new passport and from the new passport, they will cancel your visa. That is to make sure that you will have no problem at all upon departure.
