2 litter milk cost about 10 QR

1 kg of banana about 4 to 5 QR

i used Australian Rice which is cost around 6 to 7 QR for 2 kg.

4 little pot of local yoghurt QR 3

When we eat out in the shopping mall for 2 adult and 1 child normally cost us around 150 QR to 200 QR a time.

Eat out in Thai Snack only cost us around 70 to 100 QR (depend what you ordered).

We never eat out in the hotel because for us it is a waste of money.

Petrol 0,80 QR a litter.

School fees for my son QR 7500 a term starting from next September

I think local nursery will cost QR 1500 a month.

Thats all what i can think off ... to be honest in my opinion you will be struggling with that money.

Good luck.

Do you really think 2 persons can survive one month in doha with 500 or 600 usd? This is really impossible in my eyes.I survived with this only 2weeks in Doha. But wish you good luck and all the best.

Regards from swiss.

someone in india told me that USD 500-600 would be sufficient for a month's expenditure in doha.

so we were glad to have a package of USD 1400.

Is that true????????

you gotta be kidding me. it is very less. believe me it should be atleast $2000 for you people to survive. so negotiate for more. you will just be able eat in $1400. so ask for more.

with 1400 you can do NOTHING.. with purchasing power parity at 26,100 and inflation rate of 11.8%, 1400 is just good for grocery shopping.

very negative but it is the truth..
