Hi all,

I am moving to Qatar for 6 months in August. I just wanted some advice on which bank would be suitable for me. All I want is a bank to deposit money in and have a bankcard to use while in Qatar.

You may open your account in any bank in Qatar. The bank will require your residence permit. If you're on a visit visa only then I'm not sure if the bank will allow you to open any account. Credit card?... not so easy to have one in Qatar not unless it will be against your deposit or you have a permanent/confirmed work status here plus an approved company.
