You have to give it a try and tast it.. you can do so in Irani souk..
or you can go for the little expensive ones.. and no need to taste.. like Bateel chocolates.. very nice and decorated lovly ways..

Prices are more or less the same.
Try in Lulu or FFC, there you will get more variety than Duty Free. Also its costlier in Duty Free.
Another option to try out is look in Soouq, i think its called Iranian market. Plenty of variety you will get there. Just dont forget to bargain!.
