Car Insurance for Istemara (road permit) (Qatar Insurance Company)

I also got the same treatment of visiting QIC bldg 2 times to get my insurance renewed. I was surprise to see the huge nos of ppl standing and many of them were angry at this LIMITED TOKEN SYSTEM. Many were there coming from faraway distances but just didn't got the token number. Now those poor guys had to come again on any next working day just to get the token number.

QIC management must reconsider it by giving specific time period (e.g. 7am - 12pm or etc) for 3RD party insurers so we dont' have to lose our energy,money & time just for this one procedure.

it's not true that one cannot change the insurance company. i was having my car insurance with qic (1st yr) and from 2nd yr onwards it's with doha insurance company. so no probs. go to doha ins company.

I suggest you to buy insurance from Al Khaleej Insurance, I am pretty happy with the service. Transferring a third part insurance is little difficult but talk to them (Mr. Malike) and you will eventually get it.

u cant change ur insurance this is sure but if u know smbdy in the old and new insurance it can b ..

This is the most and sever punishment of public and customer of QIC doing havoc with clients that they have made a inhuman rude rules and regulations that Qatar has ever seen in any business industry treating the people worst than an animal when they approach for third party insurance. It is a mistake if you reach at 6 or 7 am morning before they open their damn company gate., becuase from midnight onwards people go and stay in que or list their names till 80 limited number of tocken are issued in jampacked office environment and that is also of no mistake of you leaving no alternative solution but to take a comprehensive insurance for your old car and get a vip treatment as a policy silently imposed nowadays by this company without any shame and any respect to the customers although they have sucked the blood of the people for decades and forcing now to take the option of comprehensive insurance when it is not at all a compulsory regulatory ordincance either from the Govt or private sector whatsoever.

There are many underground treatment also will be seen while you wait there that someone in between will bring from outside sources some of the insurance policies get processed so the delay doubled in queue untill you will fedup with this company but you cannot escape also because other insurance companies are rejecting to issue insurance once it is registered first in the Qatar Insurance company. It is private organization that they can do any havoc they wish with their business and insurance industry never runs at loss in the history.

Female priorities and preferences are not niticed by me however, I have been bad treated like a donkey with no consideration waiting for almost 4 or 5 hours although I reached almsot 5 am in the morning to be in que., and lot of irregularities are seen such as writing name by someone, and later changing it with some other person, and altogether scene is funny, pathetic and totally helpless situation. SO I AM ADVISING YOU ALL TO GET RID OF THIS COMPANIES INSURANCE IN THE FUTURE WHILE PURCHASING VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY WILL TREAT YOU INHUMAN LEVEL ALL OF A SUDDEN WITHOUT ANY NOTICE.

if you have a female relative or friends, ask them to do the insurance for you. Ladies dont have to queue. I always does the insurance for my car and my husband's car. Straight in and straight out ...
