can i leave qatar while after medical before i gain residency?

Hey guys,
Quck question.
I've just had my medical and finger printing completed but im due to leave to go back back to the UK for a week in 2 weeks time. Can I leave and come back then apply for my residency without having to have a medical again? How long does it take to complete a residency visa? Do i still need an exit permit?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Danny
Your RP should be stamped by then. If not, you can ask your sponsor for a re-entry permit by which you can exit and enter.
Of course, make sure your passport is with you!
Ops, sorry, missed the point that your fingerprins are also done. So what's the problem?? Let your PRO stamp your RP into your passport TOMORROW. why to wait 2 weeks??
You have a good chance to finish your RP before you leave. Your medical exam should be cleared in couple of days (ask your PRO to follow up). Once it's cleared you can go for fingerprints immediately (ask your PRO to prepare the form) . Next day after fingerprints, your RP can be stamped into your passport( push your PRO to do so)... so all the process from your medical exam is normally 3-4 days.
Now, considering Eid, it might take longer than usual.
If you see that your RP isn't finish by the time you need to leave, your company has to issue exit permit an re-entry visa for you before you exit Qatar. When you are back, you continue the RP process from the point you stopped on,, without repeating things.
