Considering moving to Doha, have a couple of questions
1. Which schools are ranked the best for American Curriculum (High and Middle)
2. Best compounds between Sidra and The American School
3. Best play to buy Craft material
4. Best store for electronics
5. Store to purchase teenager clothes
6. Are there any video game arcades
7. Orthodontist recommendation
8. Heard driving is horrible what is the cost to hire a driver?
9. What is covered in the usual Expat Contract. What should I watch out for
10.Cost of live-in help vs daily help
11. American Pediatrician recommendation
12. Recommendation for perms and relaxer,hair braiding
13. My teenagers wants to ask, is dating interacially frowned upon ? not sure why they want to know that as they will not be dating.. that's it for now..

Hate to say this but did you not bother going thru literally hundreds of existing threads on QL including recent ones inclduing a very helful FAQ before dumping your "where is the best ..." list on here ?

2. No "best compound" There are a lot of compounds. It depends on your employer and your allowance.
3. No idea what that even means? What kind of crafts?
4. A lot of electronics stores, from cheap chinese made stuff to high end.
5. Don't bother buying clothes here. Order online and have them shipped by Aramex or buy in the summer in the US.
6. In every single mall here.
7. Dr Aziz at Family Dental Center. US trained and worked in Chicago for 20 years.
8. Yes, traffic is the worst thing about Doha (closely tied with construction). check classifieds
9. check amount of school allowance that it covers ALL of your children and is enough for your school of choice. ASD is 70,000 per child per year in the upper grades. Also check housing allowance. 15,000 sounds like a lot, but is average to below average for Americans.
10. live-in maid around 1500 per month. Part-time is 125 per hour so much much more expensive.
11. None that I know of. Al Ahli hospital is the clinic of choice with decent pediatricians.
12. ?? I'm suspecting you may be African-American? If so, there is an African hair salon here. google it or search old threads.
13. No one gives a second look.
