by d way i explained that lady that i will have my head cover on all times but not the abaya...she gave me a disgusting look!!!the point is her remarks were disturbing...as i mentioned in my post...not inquisitive rather derogratory!!when u enquire about a person's culture and beliefs..u need to have a certain polite approach.suprisingly this arrogant lady earning her bread and butter from aMUSLIM country din't behave as expected!!
@ elegance....thanx for ur query.but ofcourse I can and many sisters like me, who cover can give physiotherapy in the best of manner.just because ur in ur tshrts or jeans doesnt make u cmfrtable...fr ppl like me I am more conscious dat way....i am more cmfrtable in my hijab!
I agree with you that as a Muslim our hijab serves as our crown. Currently i work in an Oil and Gas Company with Western Boss, am wearing my Hijab and of course they are very happy about it and it was never a question hence i perform well my job, i also has a chance to do my salah. Knowing that am working with western bosses this freedom to exercise my religion is very important and overwhelming.
So you were planning to do the strenous physiotherapy(not the "machine" work like TENS or Ultrasound) wearing your Abhaya leave alone the hijab?..Personally I would wonder whether you can do a good job for my CP daughter wearing Abhaya. I hope you can.
