Where and whom to complaint about ** **** Exchange, Doha, issue?
I Initiated a transfer to my NRI A/c with State bank of India through ** **** Exchange, Doha,Qatar on 9th March’ 2010 and today is 18th March’ 2010, for the last 9 days I am waiting for money and I am daily checking my account to know the above transaction. But till this time that amount not credited to my a/c. 2 days before, I have checked with ** **** Exchange, to know what happened my money tranfer. The Exchange manager has cross checked their transactions and finally he told me that my tranfered amount through their exchange was depited on 10th March’ 2010 itself and he has given that remittance statement copy and Unique Transaction Reference (UTR) Number to me. Additionally he told that as per NEFT norms, the fund has to clear/credited to the specific a/c from 24 hrs to 72 hrs(Maximum). My case almost 96 hrs has gone (except Saturday,sunday).
Then I approached SBI bank NEFT dept and also my branch manager through emails and phone, They are confirming that the transaction details which are provided by ** **** Exchange, Doha was wrong, and no more transactions made on that particular NRI a/c. Finally by evening it was credited to my a/c. But In this case i do want to know the particular reason why they made this much delay. However I am using this same exchange since 2years. This same incident happened to me last Nov'09 also. So, I want to complaint this issue with concerned dept over Doha. Please advise me.

There may be an issue with the data there. Here everything is alright .....

I too faced a delay when the exchange rates are increasing alarmingly daily and the exchange house held it for 4 days and after my call only it was transferred. I want to make a formal complaint. please help. The rate was near to 20rs when the money reached my account.

I'm also facing the same problem with Qatar-UAE Exchange Safari Mall Abu hamour for the consecutive 2nd month. Last month they kept my QR 1500 for 10 days and then said it's cancelled and I had to send that amount again on 11th day which reached within 2 days.
This time my 3 transactions to Pakistani bank amounting QR 11000 didn't reach yet after a gap of 13 days. I am still waiting for its recovery. They are making me angry because I have to pay a surcharge amount on a plot instalment for delay.
Concerned authorities must contact me for a formal complaint.

Yes, I am disclosing the Exchange which has made tension.
AL-Mana Exchange and Bank of India.
I received some tracking information from NEFT @ SBI but not even single mail response from [email protected]
I hope these guys only the culprits and doing something.

In your case, why are you still protecting the name of the exchange? I believe that you should mention it so that readers will take precautions if they deal with this exchange company. Do not waste your time complaining. There are lots of exchange company out there. Your loyalty will not pay off.

which is the exchange?
u can try trust exchange, it is managed by sbi.
Finally your money is credited. Now change your exchange. Complaints will not do anything. If any enquiry from the concerned department, they will blame the bank in India. Thats all.

Don't run in behind these cases to waste time. There are so many other exchanges from where u can make money trasfer and your money will get within 24hrs. Choose other exchage... Gulf exchange, City exchage, National Exchage, etc..ect.. Best Regards
