Do not under the current situtation use any UK or USA linked bank.

Alhi bank depending on who you work for give special deals, loans and preferential treatment etc, but they also give details to HR departments, be cautious.

Al Khalija has just set up, ask for the Premium Service if you earn over a certain amount, no charges for 24 Qatar to other country transactions in a year, card and cheque book made while you wait in the branch.

All banks here needs a salary certificate from your company and copy of your ID before opening any account (Current/Savings).

If you wants to open Current account you will have to provide letter from your company and Saving account does'nt need much document jus your visa copy and passport copy.

Al Alhi bank have Zero balance salary account and they does'nt need much documents.
