Since your wife is from Bangalore, then why dont you ask one of their people to check, but be carefull dealing with relatives, now a days we will be in very akward position when we come to know that they only have hiked the prices as to coverup tehir margins (Sorry telling out of experience) can trust good friends ask for refernce please don't go with real estate agents many cheat to the core, try good Builders with good track of record, ask their projects done, their properties developed, even if it is little more they will be professional.Every idle person is a real estate agent there, wants to make fastbuck with out hard work,we know how we slog to save every penny and sacrifice many things to save.

DONT GO WITH AGENT GO WITH A BUILDER OR DEVELOPER AFTER CHECKING THEIR TRACK RECORD.

1.If you are looking as only an investment and expect good returns after couple of years, then you can thnk of BDA sites, there are lot of restrictions in getting alloted , I have been trying for the last 6 to 8 years in BDA, but not fortunate to get it,during my last visit I went and checked some places of BDA in Banashankri 9th stage area,it takes at least another 5years to develop especially comercial angle.

2.IF you are planing to settle either Electronic city,Attibele,Hosur side up to Theni where TVS & Ashok Leyland has their factories and a new International Airport is planned at Hosur as Tamil Nadu govt have lot of factories in hosur area and also for Bangalore South districts,Hosur will be closer than presnt Devanahalli International Airport is about 40Kms from city.

3.Even towards Bangalore North ie.Yalahanka,Doddaballapur, chikballapur should be ideal, I took some property in Sanjaynagar,I got some Agricultural land in chikallapur agricultural property,I am looking in Doddallapur/chikballapur for some more.

Similkar to Electronic city, one textile city is comingup in Doddabalapur for export orientd. As lot of readymade brands like Arrow,Peter England,Zodiac and many more brands are around.

All the Best,Welcome to Namma Bengalooru

Since last year land prices in Bangalore are falling in some areas. My suggestion to you for long term invesment you could try BDA, Bannashankari 6th stage. The price is about 1200 to 1300 per sqft for 30'x40' or 40'x60FT. size site.

Yelahnka or North Bangalore has accute water problems. Though water problems are every where.

good luck and welcome to Bengaluru to be part of Traffic choas, Respiratory diseases.

You will miss haleem but beesi baale bath is good too.

Agree with Raj1232.The economy in India will go further south. Mortgage delinquencies will rise...better to wait for 6months+ and then buy off-plan from a reputed builder.

I aint a banglorean but i opened it..hope there are no probs. probably at times other people could reply your queries better than the own natives..maybe some X- Real Estate specialist from India.

Therefore, don't keep it precised for only bangloreans.

all the best.
