can someone please tell me how i can send money to an account in india in qatari riyals and not in indian rupees....money exchange says it will be transferred in in rupees only from here.....does anyone knows the procedure to send it in riyals only.

You can try one more thing ..... Take bank accounts in both countries ...Add beneficiary each other for online banking.... Go all around the world ....send QAR TO INR and when you will get bored please try INR TO QAR .............you won't loose too much..... only transaction charges .............

if it is qatari riyal account u can send qatari riyals. if it is dollar account u can send dollars. if it is pound sterling account u can send pounds. if it is japanese yen account u can send japanese yen, likewise...

No, Indian Bank accounts are normally allowed in USD and INR only , So remittances are allowed in these currencies only
