I am taking a business law class and as I have studied,
you will have no problem as long as you don't take chances from your employer to benefit the company you have shares in.
and as long as you are honest about it and still work for the best of your company "the one you work for" you will have no problem.

Let me make my question more clear...
Once I invest to another company to become a share holding partner, my name and ID no will be reflected on the company's CR & Computer card as well.
Here... Will I be facing any legal problems ? Does my present employer have the right to take any legal action against me?
