Go to any UAE Exchange & ask for Xpressmoney transfer. they got money transfer to bank & also instant money transfer jz like Western Union. i did- they charge less
In my experience HSBC will try and collect charges from both ends even if it is a transfer to an HSBC account.
HSBC is HSBC is HSBC no matter where it is located. They may try to tell you that it is two different banks - they're not. You should only have to pay one set of charges per bank (not per branch).
HBSC charges QAR.80/- for a normal TT and there might be another QAR.91/- "other bank charges" for USD TTs; I am not sure about Sterling pounds or Euro TTs !!
QNB will charge QR. 60 regardless of the amount. if u r a customer with them its QR.28
I don't know about HSBC
West. Uni. will take % of the TT amount
