Do you think it is possible to send money from India to Qatar through an NRI account by just paying a nominal fee and without loosing too much money? I recently sought help from a bank but they said that there has to be a reason and yeah of course,I would be loosing all the exchange rate conversion amount plus some RBI regulations etc. but otherwise I don't think there is a better way, is there?

I think the bank in india has given you a false information.You can transfer money from your NRI A/C to doha.when you look at the exchange rate, it will be a bit high.Thats it.
