10 Steps for Indian Passport Renewal in Qatar

This is just a general guide for Indian expats living in Qatar using this they could renew their passport it is shared by my indian friend he is also my job fellow. Any indian living in Qatar could get help from this if his passport is expired and want to renew in Qatar.

Indian Passport is of two types

thirty six pages and sixty four pages

1. You need to get application form from embassy or 

Download them from embassy website EAP-1D Form(datesheetform) and  EAP-I Form(application)

2. fill the form or get the form filled from agents outside indian embassy

3. 2 photos backgroud:white size: 50x 50 mm  must be colored or in civil dress

4. Visit Indian Embassy (the address is at end) between 09:00 AM -12:00 PM sun to thrs

5. after entering the embassy (you see huge queues visit early as possible) submit the docs at first counter for confirmation

6. and get token and wait for token no. to appear at screen.

7. now visit the second counter and submit document pay the FEE. they mention the date when you have to collect your new passport

8. normally the passport is made after 5 days. Visit embassy on that date between 09:00 AM and 12:00 PM. working day.

9. FEE 36 page passport fee is QR 275/ and 64 pages fee is 370

10. Urgent passport additiional charges of 550qar
