Working hours in Qatar

Do you know that we use to work from 06:30 to 12:30 six days a week? Although we had one day off, the social life was much better.

Currently we have two days off, however we work from 08:00 to 16:00, and that has a great impact on our social life….

In your opinion; what is the best working hours system or style? And why?

Some people think about how much hours you are working everyday…..

They know nothing about productivities or how much is

They don’t read about the latest researches about working hours? And what is the best working hours formal ?

Well, I think social life is more important than working life, but who doesn’t need money, life become more expensive and jobs become more critical, I believe that the best scenario is; from 06:00 to 13:00, no lunch break, two days off.

In this case, you will have enough time to do the following:

For singles: you can have lunch with your colleagues or friends, take a nap, go to the gym, hangout with your friends, shopping and so on.

For married: you can take lunch with your family, take a nap, help your kids in their studies, take them to a park or shopping, visit your relatives, hangout with your friends or even you go to the gym.

What do you think?

I used to get into the office at 9 am, and leave around 3. I thought that as long as I got the job done, who cares what time I come or leave? We had days where we would stay until 10 pm. Our Eid breaks weren't always taken because we had deadlines, but the days would be added to our annual leave.

Having said that, we had no social life out of our Work bubble.
