By Freethinker123 •
Dear friends,
I came to qatar 4 months before in company visa. As i agreed with the company by my offer letter, my company failed to keep the terms we both agreed. My probation period was 3 months as per my offer letter and now im in my 4 th month. My company and me still not signed any job contract till now. I would like to resign from that company and i want to return to my country as soon as possible. So can you anybody tell me if i put my resignation letter how many duration i need to keep for notice period and do they can put ban on me for coming back to qatar. Help me please
Thanks bro
Yes, in that case, put in your resignation through your personal email and give them a month's notice even though you are not required to do so as there is no legalized contract. Don't sign any contract now should they offer you one. Tell them in your resignation letter to cancel your visa. Make sure they do this as when this gets done, they should give you a hard copy of the cancellation.
Dear acchabaccha, But they already issued my Resident Permit. So if i want to come back to qatar i need to cancel the visa right?
Since you don't have a legalized contract, you can leave any moment. A legalized contract is the base for everything. If you have your passport with you which you should be having, then you can leave even without the company getting to know of it. They will get to know only after you have left Qatar. But if you still wish to play nice with them, just put in your resignation giving them a week's notice at the most.
Send it to them through your personal email as in that case you will have proof. Make sure you don't have any salary outstanding with them in which case you should resign or leave after they have paid your salary. Until then, just stay quiet about your plans.
