You need to read carefully before signing because some company are giving you offer letter and contract in one signature, it's like a continuous letter.

offer letter is a pre-contract letter, it only states their salary offer, leave entitlement while the contract letter states all the salary, benefits, leave entitlement etc etc including by laws. be sure that the salary that you sign in the offer letter is the same in the contract letter.
i accept the offer lastweek dated march 27, how many days do i wait forthe contract?? please advice..thanx.

NO, offer letter is for the company who make you an offer for employment.. it states the benefits and salaries etc... while the contract is to bind you with the company, it comes after accepting the offer letter. ;)
in short... accept the offer letter first before signing a contract coz there is no contract without accepting an offer...
