NOC from employer in email

Hi all,
I got an opportunity to work with a company in Qatar. Initially we had agreed for a fixed term contract of one year but when the employer sent the draft offer letter/contract the duration was not clear and it seems to be an open ended contract. The employer is not willing to mention the duration as 1 year in the contract. And he said he can not include in the contract about providing NOC if I resign after one year. He had sent an email about providing NOC in case if I resign after one year.
Can I use this email as a proof to get a NOC if I resign after one year? Or can he deny NOC saying it is not included in the contract. Please reply guys. Thanks in advance.
Thanks & regards,
Prathap K
First of all from what you have stated, it appears you employer is in no mood to give you NOC whenever you resign. Secondly, the contract is the legal document that has an importance in the Labour Office. I believe the email will not be able to give you much support in helping you get NOC from your employer.
