Moving to Qatar in 2020

Hello Everyone!

I am planning to move to Qatar next year around Jan-March. The move is including the search for a new Job. When is it recommended to start searching for Jobs? Is it 3 months or 6 months in advance?

How long does the Visa process take on average assuming I received a job offer.

Thanks so much!

It now appears to me that Molten has lost the clash against me and has now taken the support of Birtonie. This is clearly evident from the posts appearing today.

I does not worry me at all.

Molten: You are not just STUPID but a mentally-sick person. You do not have the capacity to read and understand what gets posted but as a matter of habit you must comment even if your comment is downright stupid.

Jad, You try hard to find a job here, visa issue and expenses is not your concern, if your sponsor is powerful, you will feel like a prince .......... All facilities , salary, medical, holidays, bonus , weekends , festivals , sales , discounts , free water , free elect, air tickets , kids education, their med. n their tickets ...... parent can pay a visit , full security , safety for the entire family , flowers, gardens , parks, beaches , sand dunes, cars , lights , roads, friendly people, the list is too long ............. wish you good luck n welcome n advance .......... ......... We need good nature and talented people .........

Jad, Ignore Accha. It is his habit to block the new comers. Negative thinking. Forgive him also, like others.

Jadallah: Jobs are not a seasonal item and their availability or non-availability does not depend on the weather or climate. You may come over even now. But, I suggest you go on a job hunt from your own country rather than come here and take on this task. Your presence or absence would hardly make any difference. You can do this by applying through several job sites, reading the advertisements in Qatar's local dailies especially the Sunday editions, or by placing an ad in the newspapers from time to time. Just a bit of caution to you: the number of jobs available are limited and the competition is tough. So you should be ready mentally to face frustrations.

Once you are successful in getting a job, the visa process is simple and does not take much time.
