Hi;

Could you please let me know if QP will make again the medical test once you joined even you already made the full medical test in your home country?

Thanks in advance for your help

Since this seems to be such a great deal of work to undergo, I would like to know also, what can get a person disqualified? I can understand the need to screen people so as to lessen the likelihood of spreading diseases but when will all the screening just be too much? Narconon Vista Bay

my cousin has positive tb skin test but spum test was negative.. he went through 6 months of course also.. will he be rejected..

doctors have stated many times that he may have been exposed to TB but he does not have it.. it is a common thing for people from asian countries. to be exposed like that.. any info will help a greate deal

What about TB testing? Can I be disqualified for a positive TB test? I know there are vaccinations that people can get nowadays for TB but I was curious if that would be an automatic disqualifier as well for a work visa.

I wanted to know if Rasgas has its own medical after joining. I have already undergone one medical test in home country based on which they are applying for my visa.What tests are covered in the medical ?DO they fail you on medical grounds ever after joining?It is important to know since I will be resigning from here before going to Qatar.

Thanks in advance

Your wife will also have the medical. Luckily, you use the new building these days. In 1999, there was this awful old building where very few people spoke English ... Quite an experience. Can't speak for children as we don't have any here. :o)

Is the Hep B test only for employment or all the family is going to have to pass them too when I will sponsor them to arrive in qatar (I have done all the checks, all ok and waiting for my visa).

Tks

actually i am not sure if they have exceptional cases but i have told you what i have noticed in their medial examination. i think it's better if you can call the recruitment department and check with them directly.

Thanks nnasrawi, is that a straight forward policy that someone with HB will just be rejected, even if the person is qualified as medically fit ?

But anyway really appreciate your info.

I don't think you will be able to get the Visa.

Sorry about that, but the medical examination of QP (Point #8) concern Hep B,C.

I am going to have phone interview by QP, but since I read about medical test I wonder if QP would hire someone with Hepatitis B. I am currently work for an oil company in my home country and they have no problem with it. How about the goverment of Qatar? would they still give me visa ?

Not to worry Oumarou, things move slow sometimes in the government related sectors as things get stuck in red-tape/procedure .HMC is too big an organization to rescind an offer on petty visa issues...they will fix it....

Hello all

I am a nurse and I have been accepted by hamad medical corporation;I passed an exams ,they sent me an offer employment .

On my work visa ,there is a mistake ;my nationality is Niger but they put me Morocco.

The consulate of qatar tell me to change the paper .

I inform my sponsor to do some thing;

They return my papers to High immigration.

I wait for them 20 days ,

I am very worry about my situation I want to know if they refuse give me the approval what can I do?

And now I have no job ,I have resigned to my present position.

Hi,

I passed the same procedure with QP. I had an interview with QP staff over the phone. on July 31, 2006. they they have sent me email requesting me to undergo a full medical examination to make sure if you have any critical illness. i sent them the medical examiniation report back by courier. After that, they sent me the offer and i have accepted it. i sent the offer with a set of papers they have requested from me suck as Police clearance certificate, qualification certificate, experience certificate. I sent them all these papers as well by courier. Finally, I got the visa and i will mobilize to Qatar in November 4th, 2006.

Please if you need any further question you can email me.

when my husband had an offer from QP, as soon as the test is done (basically just make sure you that your hubby fit to work and don't have any critical illness) the agent who look after u from your country will sent the report to QP. I think it was about 1 month for us from the interview in London till we board the plane to Doha.

But with Ramadhan coming soon, you will have to expect things will go slower because they will have shorter working hours.

Good luck with the new job.
