Hi, Id like to seek for an advice regarding this issue. My husband is currently looking for a job in doha. Can he still land a job there? Given his medical history. He was cleared from TB 2 years ago. Will appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Earlier today he was asked to report to the ministry of interior. What does that mean?

Thanks for the response britexpat. He's looking for a job in a construction as an engineer. We're really hoping for a good news at the moment.

If the scar is discovered during the medical (which it probably will be), then he will be referred to another hospital for a follow up check.

Usually if the job is in hotels or hospitals or similar where customer / patient interaction is required - then he will be refused a work permit.

However for other roles, his company can ask for a waiver and proceed
