Dear All, Hope you all well, I am planing to come on tourist visa and look for work, I am a qualified accountant 48 yrs old with 20+years of experience; Is this possible? i really do not know how to go about this once in Doha; I have been applying for the past 8 months online but no news; hence i thought i should come over and try; i am presently working in London. All suggestions are much appreciated at my critical time. Take care guys, Thank you very much in advance

Hs, Look somewhere else, do not spoil your time and money and newspapers ads etc ...... Accha is IDLE , he always suggests new comers like this and like that and they people often get confused at the end and make huge loss by that time .... yea, really .....

Focus on a near by place like Scotland ........ You will definitely find a much better pay there only in your neighbourhood.

Frankly, the job market is not that good here and your presence will not make much of a difference in helping you find a job here. My suggestion is that you continue to apply from your hometown and keep your hopes high. Eight months of efforts through job sites is just nothing. Secondly, if you have any contacts here such as friends, they can keep an eye for vacancies being announced here. Also, you can try to put an ad at Gulf Time on their Sunday edition and do it off and on on this day. This will surely help you.
