i would like to ask if any of your experience a phone interview of IBM UAE. i apply online thru their website. after few weeks they emailed me and interviewed via phone call. and until now they are processing my profile if i am suitable for the job.

I am in the philipppines, and as far as i know HMC agency is unistaff. if u are able to pass all the job offer assessment does this mean that u dont need the unistaff agency and u will be directly hire by the HMC with the help of IBM in UAE. thank you for all the response

Hi bland16, I'm hired thru IBM also, currently I'm still here in saudi but I'm going for exit already. I don't have any instructions from IBM yet. Did they communicate with you already about their status between POEA? Thank you.

An Inquiry to those who also hired thru IBM from Philippines.. I have my visa Months ago also contacted by HMC recruitment team but until now I am still not deployed. They said they are waiting for the approval of POEA... Anyone has the idea why and how long this approval of agency takes?

KHAN.

Just remember - the minute anyone asks you to pay any money to process a visa, purchase a ticket, registration fee etc then you know 100% it's a scam and to pull out IMMEDIATELY. Don't be another victim of the recruitment rackets. All recruitment in Qatar by law must be free of charges to the candidate. The employer pays the agent a commission, the candidate pays nothing. If they try to tell you something different they are lying and you will know for sure you are being ripped off.

It is RPO business, you are hired by IBM and contracted to HMC. You are technically IBM employee contracting and working at HMC location.

Thanks for the response from HealthcareRecruiterQatar. This shows that it is usually better to ask questions directly , rather than on QL where you may get confusing responses

As the Recruitment Manager for IBM I can confirm the following: IBM have been engaged by Hamad Medical Corporation to recruit to a number of roles on their behalf.

Please note that IBM will always be acting on behalf of HMC and any vacancy discussed will for a role as an employee of HMC, not employment through IBM or as a contractor employed by IBM. You will receive a contract from HMC.

If you have any questions regarding this, you should check with your recruiter directly or please email to [email protected]

To avoid misunderstanding, tell me the exact website you used to apply to the job and what position. I was thinking it was IBM the big IT/computer company... but on the other hand, IBM does have a Healthcare business unit.

A company can hire someone as their employee and then assign him/her to work at their customer location.

If this is what you are having now, it could mean that you are going to be working on something important and IBM need you under their company rules and policies.

but i have applied for registered nurse in rumailah hospital, until now theyre following me up for the necessary documents and form i have to fill up, u mean to say that ill be working in HMC but my employer is IBM, is that really necessary, because in the philippines one of the agency of HMC is unistaff, but for me the IBM is handling all my requirements to be hire in the HMC.

No, you will NOT be an employee of HMC. It means you will be an employee of IBM (or its partner) you will get salary from them, but your work location will be in HMC office.

Who is following up with you?

sir jonsnow, what do u mean by i will be an employee of HMC itself? because until now theyre trying to follow up my requirements for the position in HMC, and theyre still contacting me to what i have to do. do does this mean i will not go like any other applicants that will go 1st in an agency before they get hire

As far as I know, job vacancies in IBM UAE website can comes from IBM itself or any of their main partners in the region. So there is possibility that you will be hired by one of these partner or better yet by IBM itself, then you will be posted in their project at HMC. In this case you will not be an employee of HMC.
