How does the procedure work, especially when clearing the car at the custom in Qatar? How much tax, fees, etc. doI need to pay? Could you please provide me with a phone number or contact for further details. Thank you!!!

Cars sold in the USA are not built to Gulf specifications. What that means is they are prone to having more mechanical problems simply because of the temperatures here in Qatar for much of the year.

AC units are also not built to deal with the temps here. I have known one person who imported a car from the USA and they had to replace all the seals and belts as they weren't up to the weather conditions. They had ongoing problems with the vehicle.

Might be better to rethink this option IMHO

well! basically it is 5% costumes unless if the borders authority will see that the invoice is not trusted! then they will price your car based on their specs and makes u pay 5% of this amount! dont panic! sometimes this amount is less than the original amount mentioned in the original invoice. let them estimate the car... and then show the original invoice if the estimated price is more!
