How to file complaints against bank personnel?

Is it legal to use my post dated check at earlier time?My check was brought last Sept. 23,2008 as payment for my car loan but it should be on 30th of every month. I am regularly paying my car loan and my paying bank penalized me two times( 200 qrs./check)on same day due to no enough fund. Can anybody help me pls?
Last year I requested the bank to adjust the date of my payment. They told me to write a letter and bring it to the bank. I did it and after few days I called that man and he said it is approve. But still it happen and for this year this the 4th times I have this penalties. I email the bank and I'm very upset with this matter. That man called me and he is angry with me because of what I email about his unprofessionalism. He told me to give new check booklet and change the old one but unfortunately my bank not allow me to have another booklet. I have a bad record of issuing rejected checks.
Thanks for the answers and guidelines. The bank is QNB
You are not alone. It happened to us, too. Just go to the bank and talk it out with the Customer Service or bank Manager and they will assist you. You should also try to review the agreement you have signed with the bank when you made the loan before you approach them concerning this matter.
from a pesimistic point of view... there is nothing much you can do excpet for banging your head with the call centre
These banks are just useless in customer service. Infact they dont know the meaning of the term customer service.
Call centre does not know what to do .. how to do.. they dont even issue a complaint number for further tracking
This can be Easily sorted out with the Bank directly, only that would help. But it might interesting to hear of you cannot get it solved, then we would like to hear which bank it is.
It depend on the agreement you signed with the bank. Probably you have signed your willingness/agreement to present the cheques on the DAY/S BEFORE holiday/s instead of DAY/S AFTER .. in case of holidays coinciding the monthly installment dates. If that's the case, enjoy paying them and if not, you have all the right to put up a written complaint to the bank concerned and obtain full refund.
Good luck.
Ouch, that does hurt, having the money taken out a week early because of the holiday. But I suspect that if you read your loan agreement you will find it is permissible in the "small print." Sorry you had to go through the inconvenience and fines!
