Help a friend.

A "FRIEND" RECENTLY JOINED A COMPANY IN QATAR, THE PROBLEM IS: HE IS NOT HAVING THE ACCOMODATION AS PER CONTRACT( IT IS WAY INFERIOR) AND AT WORK HE WAS GIVEN A EQUIPMENT THAT CAN NOT GET THE JOB DONE (ALSO VERY LOW QUALITY) .
FOR SUCH REASONS, HE IS CONSIDERING TO LEAVE, DOES HE NEEDS TO PAY THE COMPANY FOR HIS HIRING EXPENSES?
PS: HE IS HAPPY WITH HIS ALLOWANCES AND SALARY, BUT THE TWO THINGS MENTIONED ABOVE ARE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK AND LIVE WELL.
If the problem is ONLY the equipment then it is better for him to bring this to the notice of the higher management and explain to them how it is affecting the work progress. I am sure they will be educated enough to know that and make some changes.
No RP or either a registred contract, the guy is here for a week.
let's say: you gotta a microwave, now make the best PIZZA in town !
Dont you think it's too early to call it quits in a new job, and that too due to an inerior "equipment"? Hang on there buddy, the"thing" will wear down itself and you will have better options!
You're not supposed to 'live well'! Work and take your money and run!
the high caps option.!!!
It's like you are yelling to everybody here!!
Now, more seriously: if the agreement or the contract establishes that in case of resignation the employee will cover the expenses incurred during the contracting stage then yes your friend will have to pay for that.
What kind of agreement your friend had with the company?? does he already have RP? is the contract registered in labour dept??
Regards!!
i wonder, wat kinda equipment was tat ? :(
