Is there anybody knows how much does it cost approximately to open a pub in Doha?Aha!!1Before that question i had to ask if the government gives permit or the procedure and cost of permits make it impossible?

Not a bar but I know that exists and is meant to do a good breakfast, think I'm going to hunt it down this friday.

Well you could open something that looked, smelt and resembled a pub, even serving drinks in pint glasses. Only problem is none of the drinks would be able to contain alcohol. Which means nobody would want to sit in a place like that! :)

It's a very good idea. I'm not trying to sound like an expert, it just seems to me like someone would have done it by now. Keep in mind, if you're going to open a business here, it has to be at least 51% owned by a Qatari. I don't know if you will find a Qatari to run a pub with you. Also, I doubt the government will allow you to serve alcohol. Good luck though man.

It's a good idea.According to me, Arabians don't agree to open such places. And as i guess British and American people are not eager to invest money on Pubs especially who work abroad.Maybe these are the reasons that it would have been done already.

I'm sure there are several thousand people who would like to see a good pub open in Doha, myself included. However, if it were possible, I think it would have already been done.

I can't imagine any type of business that would have more red tape! You would be "coming soon" for probably 2 years.

Pubs are only permitted in 4 and 5 star hotels. So I guess you have to look at the cost of opening a hotel.
