Hi friends

i am an indian working in Kuwait as a Civil Engineer .Recently i got an offer from a consulting firm from Qatar with a monthly package of 30,000 QR all inclusive. My family is staying with me here in kuwait (wife +2 kids) and son is in 2 nd standard. My salary in kuwait is equivalent to 20,000 QR.Iam confused to take a decision of relocation to qatar considering the high cost of living and i have to leave my family in India for atleast 8 months (as i heard 6 months salary certificate required to take family visas). Please advise me whether i should take up this offer or stick to my job in kuwait. Can experienced people give me some valuable advise about cost of living and family issues especially children education

Considering the high cost of living in Qatar and not much a big difference in offered salary, my advise is to stay back in Kuwait and enjoy family life. Also Immigration rules of Qatar are like modern day slavery, which is not the case in Kuwait. In Qatar its difficult to or i would say impossible to change jobs without NOC. Don't sacrifice your life and peace of mind for a small difference.
