SOME OF THE MANAGERS OR SUPERVISOR IS CUTTING THE SALARY FOR AT LEAST 3 DAYS WHEN WE COMMIT MISTAKES, LIKE ARGUING WITH THEM OR NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS. AFTER CONTRACT IS SUBMITTED TO THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR THEY PASS A MEMO TO A CERTAIN PERSON TELLING THAT HIS SALARY IS WILL BE CHANGE FROM QR---- TO QR ---- LOWER THAN THE SINGED CONTRACT, REASON IS EMPLOYEE IS NOT CAPABLE OF THE JOB "?????????" IS THIS ACTION LEGAL IN TERMS OF LABOR LAW IN QATAR? PLEASE HELP US TO KNOW MORE INFORMATION REGARDING LABOR DISPUTES.

actually your point of view is correct never would a GM believes a staff, he will always agree to his managers even if its wrong( coz he brings them to that position that's why he should listen to his puppets! even his puppets has 2nd puppets! hahahahhahah!) evntually this poor guy cannot stand the pressure, he doesnt want to fight back, he was being terminated because he dont want to sign the memo that he agree's that his salary will be reduced.

DaRuDe you forgot Employers have thousand ways to fixed them up for good. Do you believe your Manager or worker under him if you are their GM. Labour Dept. simply will not work. police out of the question

the problem is fear that they will get fired and deported. hmmm well lets say they go and submit complain to their Director general or General manager and upon no action should submit a copy to LABOUR DEPT AND POLICE. THAT SURE WILL HELP THEM.

DaRuDe getting visa is not that difficult if you know the right connections. One or Two men can not strike alone. you need the majority on your side which will never happen here

unfortunately, these stinky bum employers are very cunning and can do whatever they want coz the employees dont know their rights and/or these poor employees have paid 1 year salary in advance to some agent, money they borrowed from some loan shark, so they dont really have the choice but to accept...

Totally illegel but practically happening in some of the places I know. Ther is no remedial action DaRuDe. How a poor guy sues his company. simply will not work.

Totally illegal report them

or just SUE THEM SIMPLE.

SMACK the contract on their face and ask them to show you that line in it where does it say to deduct salary from workers if they argue or do a mistake. and then get that piece of paper up his stinky buns
