In regards to my previous post and questions here about work Visa cancelled last year April,2011 and reverted into family visa,,its possible!!,,i just did it,even if they said there's ban for 2yrs,my sister who's working in Doha made the process ,asked NOC from her company and salary certificate, thanks God she made it..so happy.but now just finished my 7 months in Doha on my family visit visa,,got married there within those months..and now applying for a husband visa..As of now need to leave Doha for another visa transfer..from my sister sponsorship to my husband..Husband/family visa on process...GOD IS GOOD!

if you are banned then no way you can come back

If your current employer has not given you NOC then you cant come before 2 years on work permit.

If your current employer gives you NOC then you can come next day for work permit

if i am your employer, do u think i will hire you if i know that you're a "runaway" or AWOL employee? this is simply a bad attitude that employers must consider in hiring people. who knows, you might do it again with my company. better not to go again in Qatar because you'll be banned by the CID, forever or jail is waiting for you here.

i just want to ask if i can come back after 2 years with the case filed by my old sponsor (RUNAWAY)... he gave me NOC/release and it was even signed by the immigration but when my new company was aboiut to pay the transfer fee, we found out that my i.d has been blocked and with an attached police report that i runned away from my old employer =( so when i went to CID they didnt allow me to explain my side but they just put me in jail/deportation alatul...

i askd the immigration officer but all their answers were unsure with the "MAYBE"... maybe 2 years maybe 5" so confused...

HELP !!! how many years really?

6 months ban without NOC could be possible? Please read & comments.

However, the law makes it illegal for sponsors and employers to retain employees’ passports and travel documents once their residence permits have been issued.According to Article 4, any expatriate once dismissed from his job or quit on his own will not be allowed to re-enter the country before the elapse of two years from the date of his departure. However, this condition can be waived by the Minister of Interior, or whoever represents him. Also the department (to be designated later) in charge of enforcing the law may exempt some cases from this period based on a written permission from the expatriates’ previous sponsor, according to Article 4.The new law gives the Minister or whoever represents him the power to transfer sponsorship temporarily if there is a legal dispute between the sponsor and the expatriate worker.Read more: http://qatarliving.com/answers/visas-and-permits/6-months-ban-without-noc-could-be-possible-please-read-comments#ixzz1WCbHFRpc
