I got an offer in qatar and my medical reports show that I'm having fatty liver due to high cholestrol & mild diabetics. Will this be a issue to get the job.
If anyone from oil & gas company help me with correct details.
I have trawled through the threads on here but I need the oppinion of someone in the know of the specifics.
I only have until Tuesday to get my facts right.
There is a guy who occasuinally drinks in RNA where my wife works who I knew a long time ago.
Every time I have seen him I have been rushing in and out quickly to pick her up and he has been always been talking to someone else, so I haven't spoke to him.
It turns out I have only seen him occasionally because he is working away in QATAR, and he is an ex-pipefitter working as an engineer exactly the same as me.
I can't believe it, he is a nice fella and I am sure he would have guided me well.
I know a British guy who is working now in the well known Canadian drilling company for oil fields here in Qatar 'Talisman Qatar'. I will check if I have his phone number 'Richard' so you can contact him.

Hi man,
I know a British guy who is working now in the well known Canadian drilling company for oil fields here in Qatar 'Talisman Qatar'. I will check if I have his phone number 'Richard' so you can contact him.

Sorry mate, all the usual stuff but from a Brit point of view.
Firstly what sort of salary should a piping engineer [jumped up pipefitter] expect?
This I know;
accomodation is provided and paid for
25% of salary for living expenses
flight home are provided [not sure how mant, about 3 - 4 a year]
I am preparing for an interview next week but the cash is key, obviously.
I moved here almost a year ago to work for an oil services company.
Can i help?
