Visit Visa to RP by exiting

Hi all,

My wife and child are on visit visa and their application for permanent visa has been approved (Thank God)

However they need to go back end of this month due to some matters back home and expecting to come back after a month. Is that possible to come back with the entry visa which is going to be issued while they are here now?
Or should it be that they need to convert it to residence visa without exiting?

Please advise.

Thanks Syed :) Appreciate it

So I can print the entry visas and keep it unused until they come back to Doha arrival.

It's technically cancelling the visit visa by exiting and entering with the printed entry visa correct?

Sorry I mean entry permits (visas) not exit permit.

Yes it is possible, once they are out of country you print the exit permit and send them for coming back. Even if you pay and get the exit permits while they are here in Qatar don't change the status from visit to resident by paying QR 500 fees. Once you do the status change then they need to complete the full procedure of RP before travelling.

Since their permanent resident has been approved, first get a Qatar ID for both your wife and your child, then they can travel and come back...its best that way.
