Visa Status : Closed .

Hi all,

I did my medical and fingerprint,but did not processed with RP, i resigned from my job within probation period, my company told me as you dont have Your RP once you exit your visa will be automatically cancelled. But when i checked the visa status after exiting qatar now its showing CLOSED, why it's not showing cancelled? And what if its showing closed? Will it take some time? Or do i need to ask them to cancel it? If its closed means new sponsor in future will be able to get new visa or not? Please let me know if someone knows about visa status closed issue.
