Travel to India and come back with less than 6months passport validity.

I am a Qatari resident with residence valid till December 2019 having an Indian passport. I’m currently in Qatar and need to travel to India in May 2019 for 3 days but my passport expires in 2nd July 2019. Can I travel with the same passport or do I have to renew it?

Thanks for the info. I was able to travel with 2months validity to my home country. Getting back to Qatar was also without any hassle as I had valid QID. Once I got back applied for Passport renewal and received it in 15days.

If you have valid Qatar ID, you can travel even if you have only 1 day remaining in passport.

Minimum six month rule is for people with Visit visa.

If you renew passport now, you will have to renew your Qatar ID also because it has your passport number..there will be problem when exit permit is issued..
