After expiry of RP there is grace period of 3 months to renew the RP therefore you can renew passport first and then you have manually renew RP and at the time show both old & new passport to get the new passport details entered in the system.
Hi Sheen Services, i am planning to renew my kid Passport which expires by Dec 2016 and his RP visa expires by Nov end 2016. After taking new passport can i renew RP visa on the new passport directly or i should renew visa on the old passport then pay 200 Qr to update to new passport. Is there any application form for directly update the new passport.
I guess there will be no RP visa sticker in his new passport this time but only ID Card...

Yes you can also get your new passport details updated in immigration and they will charge Qr. 200 for the new RP id card.
