Plastic card shortage in the immigration for QID?

Past 2 days I'm trying to get QID and in the last visit I was told that ID cards not available.
Is this true? If yes, then anyone know how long before it will be available?

He is telling that manual ID printing has been stopped because of shortage of cards

2 days back I got QID...so try again
My mandoob statement from the past one month is there are no cards for printing QID (manual), please let me know if others have same problem from past one month
My "mandoob" went in the afternoon and brought the ID.
So hopefully it is resolved....
Please let me know if the shortage is still there or this issue is resolved. I need QID urgently

My family RP rejected because of occupation, now I changed the occupation but I need to pay 200 and get the ID and then submit to process family RP.
I guess I can show the approval paper and convince to process the RP
They are short of cards since the past few months.
2 of my colleagues needed to travel urgently.
1) RP expired in Aug. it was renewed by no plastic.
2) Another travel in Oct and RP expires in Oct.
The Immigration has a few cards for emergency.
In both cases, if you take your ticket to the caption, he will get your QID done.
Because it was the guy on the gate who told me.
Anyhow I will try again and finger crossed.
Need ID very urgently....
If the authorities have told you something, what makes you doubt them? Why can't you be a bit patient and and try after some days?
