NEW PASSPORT NUMBER UPDATED IN MOI BUT NEW QID NOT YET RECEIVED
The situation bothering me is as below step by step.
I renewed my passort and received the new one last 12 April, 2018. Take note that I will be going on vacation on June 1, 2018.
That same day (12 April, 2018) I had the new passport I gave it to the concerned person in my company to have the passport number associated with the QID/Residence Permit be changed to the new one. Until 23 May, 2018 almost 1 month and a half since I provided my new passport for changing, I found out it was not done.
They promptly applied for the change, and my new passport is now associated with my QID/Residence Permit and it is reflecting already in MOI website when I search using the new passort number and QID, all is okay.
The last thing bothering me is this:
They took my old QID (bearing old passport Number) so it can be renewed for the new one today 24th May which in the process rendered me not in possesion of any OLD or NEW QID. My flight is on 1st June. It is Ramadan, my company is saying it might take more time than usual, plus the delivery by QPOST.
Will I be able to leave without a physical QID, considering the fact that everything is all OKAY system wise when searched using my QID and new passport number??? Please help..=(
