My parents visa expires 18th July. How to extend- already 6month finished

Dear All, 

Please share your experiences on the subject.

My parents here under family visit visa going to complete 6month by 18th July. I already registered in Indian Embassy. Waiting for repatriation. However the visa going to expire. How to extend or what should I do in this covid-19 situation.

Please be advised to send an email to the visa section of the Airport Immigration at ( [email protected] ) to get a proper guidance & approval if you can still extend the family visit visa & if they will open for you additional extension period on Metrash 2 or visit the Immigration Airport with the visa

copies of your parents along with their original passports. Please note that sadly this month is the last month for the extensions, therefore kindly highly consider the exit before it expires to avoid a penalty of QR 200 per a day.

Prior to Covid-19, the immigration authorities extended the visit visa by another month after the 6 month expiry provided one showed a confirmed return ticket. I guess if you approach the captain at any of the passport & immigration office, he will help you out due to the pandemic situation. Go to him with the passports of your parents and any other document you may be having. You may need to pay the visa extension fee through ATM.
