Labor card cancellation

Hi,

I am working in a comapny for the last 2 years(Starting April 2017) . In this duration I have taken extended maternity leave of 3.5 months( 2 months loss of pay). But now due to some personal emergency I had to go to India in July and my company is not approving my leave and have asked me to resign by may end. I have a notice period of 1 month. So i will be putting my papers by this month end. Now the concern is I got the labor card only on March 2018 and it is expired now. Company is in the process of renewing it since it got expired in March 2019. Will the company be able to cancel the card as soon as it is renewed? I dont have any other job on hand.
