Is it need to exit Qatar if you have already an entry Visa

Hi, To All Qlv'rs

We would like to ask to those who had an experience if it is necessary to exit and what will be the procedures.

Currently, my wife is now in Doha since April 2016 with Visa on Arrival(her Working Visa is from Bahrain) extended up to August 3, 2016.

if she have already an Residence Family Entry Visa here in Qatar, is it required to exit or not necessary? if not required, what will be the procedures?
