Family Residence Visas

Is there any update regarding when Residence or Visit Visa for family will reopen?

There seems to be no hope in the reopening of Residence Visa's at all with the second wave. So many  relationships and lives are getting compromised.

How to do it? I've written to the embassy plenty of times, I've written to hukoomi, everyone says it's not with their department.

I don't know how to address this and to whom. They don't care at all about the expats.

I think we need to involve of our embassy in this issue who should talk to Qatar Govt in order to solve this issue on prompt basis buz now its has been more than 1 year. Atleast they should allow wife & kids to come live as complete family........

I suggest we should write to government and request to start family visa soon, more we tweet soon they hear.

I've already wrote many times, if you can't write atleast retweet it as much you can.

Why don’t you write an email to hukoomi? Maybe you’ll get some info which will be accurate

There was an official article which said it was a fraudulent edit.

I was wondering, with the GCC opening, on what visas did people from all the gulf nations arrive at qatar? Followed by a second wave. I don't even know if they'll open Visa's for family this year. With the way things are going, seems highly unlikely.

People are in Qatar without seeing family for months, there has to be a way to allow family vists while maintaining quarantine, maybe a test certificate from the country of travel and a test in Qatar.

It is high time I mean there are better ways to deal in this situation. Quarantine and testing is a better way.

The government has to take steps to protect all the people who reside in the country. If these steps hurt some people in some way, there is nothing much that can be done.
